Review:
At first I had a hard time
getting in to this book. I thought it was another book about a shallow
group of girls preoccupied with boys, clothes and parties. And some of
it was.
But then the book took a turn for the better. Livi starts to
wise up a little bit.
She begins to realizes how shallow and manipulative some of her friends are and how she bought in to something that in the end is kind of meaningless and hurtful to the students of the school.

With the way girls tear each other a part nowadays I thought that this was a bit of a lost opportunity to show how a group of female friends could really stand by one another instead of tearing each other a part just for the attention of a boy or boys. Most of the girls featured seem somewhat shallow and two faced. Towards the end of the book I was ready to give this book a four, things seemed to be looking like a positive message was in store and that Livi was going to be a good example on how to stand up to those people that you think are your friends, but alas the end left
me unsatisfied. I wish there was more of a conclusion to the issues
that were brought up.
Overall though this was a very fun read and is engaging enough if you are looking for something light and fluffy.
