Teachers Pet Review

Synopsis:

Kate likes a little thrill. She likes a little scare. And she loves getting the chance to go to the exclusive week-long writing conference taught by the famous master of horror himself. He's so good at being so bad.
With a teacher like that, you expect a little competition. With a teacher like that, you practically have to kill to get his attention.
Does Kate have what it takes to be teacher's pet?

Review:

In elementary school I used to love passing my summers reading R.L. Stein and Christopher Pike novels trying to scare myself silly, I have no idea how I missed Richie Cusick!

Teachers Pet put me right back into my elementary school self devouring each page abd trying to figure out each and every plot twist before it came. it took me out of myself and let my mind relax and have fun.

I really enjoyed Teachers Pet and will be on the lookout for more Richie Cusick novels in the future and I am looking forward to sharing them with younger family members when they are old enough.

* I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review from Netgalley

About the Author:

Richie Tankersley Cusick is the bestselling young adult author of over 25 titles, including two adult horror titles, "Scarecrow" and "Blood Roots". Her popularity grew at the height of the horror/YA boom in the late 80's/early 90's, particularly with books like "Lifeguard" , "Trick or Treat" and "Teacher's Pet", just to name a few, allowing her to keep company on the bestseller paperback lists with the likes of R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike. Her fan base expanded about the time she changed publishers to Archway/Pocket Books with titles like "Vampire" and "Someone at the Door".
