SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:
I think this is a great novel to get younger readers to start making predicitions on what they believe will happen next in the story. It will draw kids in and although it has many twists and turns to the story they aren't entirely a surprise if you can see the clues in the story.
I really liked the messages throughout the novel. That going good deeds for your own gain is not truly doing a good deed. And that what is beautiful is not always good and pure, and what is ugly is not always evil. You have to look closer at people to see their hearts and souls.
I also thought the themes of friendship were great. The entire novel was fantastic and I could not put it down or wait to dive into the next installment in the series. It may be a little bit more mature than the Ever After High series, it's more serious and less humorous, so know your reader!
