It's My Birthday!

Happy Birthday To Me!

So today is my 26th Birthday! I can't believe that the time has flown by so quickly. So in honor of my Birthday I decided to share a little more about me and who I am as well as giving away some UnBirthday Presents to you!

I was born at 4:01 am on February 22nd 1988 to Brian Co and Denise Honey.

Of course she only had a photo where I was naked! And as you can see I was a very fat baby!


My Mom and I were always very close growing up. She has always been and will always be my very best friend.

 Many people tell us that Gilmore Girls seems to have been written about our relationship and in many ways it's true! When we are together on my birthday we always watch the Gilmore Girls episode where it's Rory's birthday and Loralie is describing labor!


I was a weirdo kid. I liked to dress up in costumes instead of street clothes. I still do! I was also sarcastic, precocious and had a dark sense of humor. My mom used to say that they should have cast me as Wednesday Addams.

 I'm an only child so I hung out with my parents a lot growing up. They would take me to concerts and plays. It fueled my passion for the arts. I was involved with theater at a young age and stayed with it through High School though I became more of a techie then an actor. I started doing photography which lead to doing some modeling which was very fun!

Although I run a book blog now and I adore reading I was a reluctant reader at first. I tricked my parents into thinking I could read when I was younger by memorizing my favorite picture book and turning the pages at the right time. The truth is I had a very hard time learning to read. I was taught phonics which screwed me up more as I got older (why do we not spell everything phonetically! We didn't realize until I was in Middle School that I displayed symptoms of Dyslexia. I have learned how to live with my reading diffuclties and despite them I can read almost a book a day!


This is me and my husband David when we were only 13 years old!

This was the year we met at Mountain and Sea Adventures on Catalina Island. We both worked there on and off for 10 years. When we were at camp the summer we were 16 David loaded up a french fry with ketchup at dinner and shoved it deep in my ear. He will forever claim this was the moment I fell in love with him. And in a way he is right. From the age of 13-23 we spent a lot of time pranking one another and that silliness is a large basis of our relationship.

We got married on the Island where it all began when we were 23. We were still working at MSA at the time. Our romance is honestly something swept right off the pages of a Young Adult book.
